AGA supports our tree planting efforts.

TREES PLANTED

AGA (Apprentices Plus) is a not-for-profit organisation, focusing on meeting the needs of the young people that they train and employ. CEO Mark Knox and his team believe in also helping out the needs of local communities. As such, this year AGA have provided Steven Joblin and his Flowerdale landcare group with 75 trees for one of their planting projects.

This planting took place in on a residential block in Flowerdale that was destroyed in the 2009 fire. The trees donated by AGA have been used to create a screen along a fence line as habitat for native insects and birds. Previously there had been a pittosporum hedge (a species that readily escapes into the bush), so thanks AGA. The seedlings planted on this site are all indigenous to the area. mival2   This year, Fifteen Trees and our supporters have provided Steve and his Landcare team with over 3,000 native trees for their re-vegetation projects. Numbers add up so thank you AGA for your 75 trees.  We are delighted to have been able to help out Flowerdale after the devastating fires in 2009.   [fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”]
