Esperance (WA)

TREES PLANTED

Across the country in WA, 450 trees were planted by students from Esperance Primary School to help replace trees that were vandalised when the school first opened. Banksia, grevilleas, and hakea were just some of the native trees and shrubs planted around the many garden beds in the school. Students from Grades 6 and 7 joined in with the tree planting day and sustainability was the topic across the school.   10626255_726413857424007_1278207074202231306_o These native plants were very generously donated by Trudy Hardy and her team at G.J. Gardner Homes Esperance. In partnership with Fifteen Trees, GJG Esperance plants 15 trees for every home they build and has been a part of the Fifteen Trees project for a number of years. 15-Trees-press-clipping Thank you Trudy and the team for your on-going support of your local community and local native gardens.
