Green Drinks is an international informal ‘get together’ for anyone who is keen to mix it with the best, have a lovely ale or wine and listen to a guest speaker from the environmental field. In Ballarat, it is a monthly event held usually during the first week of the month. In celebration of National Tree Day, Fifteen Trees decided to plant one tree for each person who ‘walked in the door’. As a result, 60 native trees went out to the Ballarat Specialist FARM School in Normal St Ballarat to be planted on the school grounds.
