Join up with the Climate Guardians.
  • Become a Climate Guardian.
  • Plant a tree (no surprises with this one I guess)
  • Go through one drawer or cupboard and do a clean up. Send anything good to the op shop.
  • Download a green app. Go for Shop Ethical, Sustainable Seafood Guide, and Significant Trees in Victoria.
  • Celebrate by having some friends over for an organic, vegetation feast.
  • Go out with friends and raise an (organic) glass to our beautiful world.
  • Join up with Greenpeace, Rise of the Eco Warriors, Quit Coal, and Get-Up.
  • Get yourself a Kindle (kinder on the environment in the long run if you are a prolific reader). Not using your Kindle? Pass it along to a friend.
  • Join your local library or find a book club in your area.
  • Decide to go plastic free in one area – e.g. lunch wrappings, bin liner, when buying fruit & vegetables etc
  • Find out where your local Landcare group hangs out.
  • Get your bike out of the shed, pump up the tyres and get out on the street.
  • Tell your local Greens you will help out on Election Day.
  • Sign up with some great green websites such at – EcoChick, GRIST, and Daily Lime,
  • Find out where and when your local Green Drinks takes place.
  • Dig out your sewing machine and make yourself something original and fantastic.
  • Get knitting (again).
  • Get out in your garden and plant your winter crops.
  • Find our when your local farmer’s market is on.
