Z The trees planted on the Zoutendijk Property at Durham Lead were kindly paid for by King’s Cars. The grandchildren have got involved and helped to plant 60 native seedlings last month. During August and September Peter King  carbon offset 4 of his vehicles – 2 Citroen’s and 2 Mitsubishi’s (to new car owners Plamer and Hoare). This has allowed the 4 X 15 trees to be planted and over their lifetime they will collectively absorb ~ 16,000 kg of carbon dioxide. Once again Garibaldi Community volunteers know how to correctly plant, all new trees have tree guards and mulch. Kind Regards – Colleen
