Livos Australia supports tree planting.

TREES PLANTED

Queensland Innisfail State College (a combined secondary school and TAFE) have been working hard over a number of years to improve the area around their school and in particular the banks of the Johnstone River that runs behind the campus. Earlier plantings have helped stabilize the riverbank, and students are now encouraged to extend their project with more tree planting. The area is now (almost) free of weeds and the students have provided a wonderful habitat for local wildlife, especially native birds.IMG_3646The school planted 280 trees of which Angela Petruzzi from Livos Australia contributed 30. Livos manufactures environmentally sustainable paints and finishes made from plant-based materials. They even produce children’s face and finger paints. Thank you Angela and the team at Livos.livosSlainte – Colleen

380 TREES PLANTED

August 14, 2026
There’s something quietly powerful about a person who decides, on their own, to do something good for the planet. No fanfare, no corporate mandate – just a simple choice to put a few trees in the ground. When hundreds of individuals make that same choice, something remarkable happens. Native forests are restored, wildlife corridors are rebuilt, and community groups across Australia get to do the work they love. So if you’ve ever purchased trees through Fifteen Trees, thank you.

‘Tree planting is about far more than restoring the landscape, it’s about bringing people together to care for the places we all value. Thank you for your generous support for the farmers, students, volunteers and conservation partners who are helping create healthier habitat for Tasmania’s unique wildlife while inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards’.
