Five trees have been planted on the behalf of Mr Garry Cox and family. Friends and colleagues from G.J. Gardner Homes would like to offer their deepest sympathy and condolences to Garry and wanted to let him know that they are thinking of him and his family at this time. The 5 trees were planted on National Tree Day on the school grounds. They were part of a bigger planting group of which included native grasses and shrubs. The students hope to entice the native mammals, birds and reptiles back into their school yard. Slainte  and condolences from Fifteen Trees – Colleen[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]

According to Sustainability Victoria, the average Australian lifestyle produces 15,000kg of carbon per year. If that sounds like a lot, it is! Over its lifetime, a tree can collect and store 268kg. This means, we each need to plant 58 trees per year to bring our individual carbon production down to zero. A little tricky for most of us to do in our own backyards, and this is where ‘A Subscription for the Planet’ comes in.
