G.J. Gardner Homes kicks in with 870 trees for Wodonga.

TREES PLANTED

Ross Morley, Managing Director of G. J. Gardner Homes has been supporting our native environment (through Fifteen Trees) since 2013 and has helped plant 1000’s of trees across Victoria and Tasmania. For every new home built, Fifteen Trees organises the planting of 15 trees in the local district. This year, the project will see over 8,500 trees planted by schools, landcare and various environmental groups. GJGLogo_NO-TAG_WHITE_BG_lrg Adam Gregor, Tristan Bullock and Danny Cohen from G. J. Gardner Homes Wodonga are generous supporters of local community groups and their tree planting projects. This year, this trio have purchased 870 trees for the Wodonga Urban Landcare Network.   Planting Trees
We have had 2 planting mornings with the trees from GJ Gardner Homes. First was our ‘Workplaces in Open Spaces’ morning on Saturday 14th August where staff and families from Woolworths Distribution Centre and the City of Wodonga planted in Belvoir Park, Wodonga. The following Saturday we were up on Kent McKoy Reserve in Wodonga, planting with the Friends of the Ridge Reserves. The wet winter and spring have been amazing and these plants should really take off with the warmer weather. Our thanks to GJ Gardner Homes once again. ‘We are very grateful for the financial support provided this year. It has assisted us with planting native trees in a very cold windswept area that was calling out for plants. These trees will make life much more pleasant for wildlife and humans too – thank you’. Land Conservatory, TAS.
