Supporting our mountain communities with GJG.

TREES PLANTED

Ross Morley, Managing Director of G. J. Gardner Homes has been supporting our native environment (through Fifteen Trees) since 2013 and has now helped plant over 44,000 trees across Victoria and Tasmania. For every new home built, Fifteen Trees organises the planting of 15 trees in the local district. This year alone the project will see over 11, 310 trees planted by schools, landcare and various environmental groups. Pat Menzies from G. J. Gardner Homes Melbourne North East is a generous supporter of local community groups and their tree planting projects. This year, the Bundoora team purchased 240 trees for Chris Cobern and the Upper Goulburn Landcare Network.

“Kinglake Landcare Group held their National Tree Day event on Sunday 22nd July. The event was held at a site on the Whittlesea-Kinglake Rd in Pheasant Creek to create habitat and to link a natural wildlife corridor. Eighteen volunteers including members of the Kinglake Scouts did a great job planting 240 plants kindly donated by Pat and the team at GJ Gardner Homes. Thank you G.J. Gardner Homes for your support over the past few years. Your trees will be looked after by the UGLN over the coming hot summer months”. Thank you to Chris and the team from UGLN for finding such a great home for GJG’s 240 trees. The planting site looks beautiful. And these trees will certainly enhance the environment by providing habitat for the native birds, reptiles, insects and mammals. Sláinte – Colleen Interested in supporting our tree planting projects?
