Looking for a tree planting service that does more than just put trees in the ground?
We’ve been in this space for over a decade, working alongside hundreds of community groups and tree planting organisations across Australia. In that time, we’ve learned who delivers real results and who doesn’t.
If you’re after a provider who’ll plant trees on your behalf and keep you updated with meaningful feedback (photos, locations, community impact), you’re in the right place.
These five organisations have consistently impressed us with the quality of their work, transparency, and genuine commitment to community engagement.
Here they are in no particular order – though we were always going to put ourselves first in this article.
Fifteen Trees (2009).
What sets Fifteen Trees apart is their personalised approach. They take the time to understand your business and link your tree planting to something meaningful, for example 15 trees for every vehicle in your fleet, 1 tree for every tax invoice sent, or 1 tree per flight hour. It’s a creative and practical way to integrate sustainability into your daily operations.
Even better, they don’t stop at planting. Once your trees are in the ground, you’ll receive a full report detailing who planted them, what species were chosen, where they were planted, and how the project benefits the local environment and community.
Trillion Trees (1979).
This WA organisation has been dedicated to planting trees. They plant local native species, grown in their local nursery. Each year, with hundreds of community volunteers, they restore ecosystems, protect wetlands and our precious drinking water supplies, rebuild habitats for native wildlife and educate people how they can personally take steps to slow the impacts of climate change.
Greening Australia (1982).
This is a national not-for-profit committed to restoring Australia’s diverse landscapes and protecting biodiversity in ways that benefit communities, economies, and nature. Their projects span the breadth of the country. Greening Australia apply a science-led, collaborative approach to deliver nature-based solutions addressing the twin crises of climate change and biodiversity loss.
Green Fleet (2000).
This not-for-profit organisation that has delivered climate action for over 25 years. Greenfleet plants native biodiverse forests in Australia and New Zealand to restore nature and capture carbon emissions on behalf of our supporters. Green Fleet partner with local communities and Traditional Owners support broad benefits for the country and communities.
Carbon Neutral (2005).
This organisation has over 20 years of experience creating innovative large-scale reforestation projects that restore landscapes, preserve biodiversity and sequester large amounts of atmospheric carbon. These projects provide carbon offset solutions through native reforestation. Their services include energy and water auditing, and carbon consulting and reduction programs.
All the above companies are fantastic. They all support Australian reforestation and understand the importance of biodiversity for healthy and sustainable ecosystems. We would recommend any of them. Want to know who we don’t recommend … well we wont put that in print. However, we welcome you to get in contact to hear our options.
