Team building brings people together by encouraging teamwork.

Fun good activities that help people see each other in a different light allows them to reconnect in different settings. One of the best reasons for a team building activity is to improve communication. Working along side your colleagues gives you the opportunity to learn about each other and develop a new rapport. A successful team building activity encourages a comfortable and cooperative workplace environment for any company.

At present, we are organising tree planting days for Victorian sites only.

And when you combine team building and volunteer work (such as tree planting) – well – you are ticking all the boxes!!s Doing good while building a more cohesive team. Fifteen Trees has affiliations with many community and environmental groups in metropolitan Melbourne and indeed across Victoria, who would love your assistance to get ‘trees in the ground’.

While on site, you will learn from experienced volunteers and gain practical skills in native species selection, proper planting techniques, and ongoing tree care you can use anywhere.

While we do not charge to help organise your tree planting day, we do require a minimum number of 500 trees ($6.30/tree) to be purchased. We also ask companies to contribute towards tree guards and/or mulch. This is an additional cost ($3.35/tree).

Price per tree + guard/mulch = $9.65 (inc GST).

Best tree planting events run for a morning (3 – 4 hours) with a tea break half way through. If all the trees don’t get planted on the day, the community group plants them at the same site in the weeks following.

When possible, the team from Fifteen Trees also attends. We assist the community group to set out the seedlings, tools (all provided) and help with the morning or afternoon tea. We take photos and video (happy to share content) and send up the drone. We also bring homemade blueberry muffins and good coffee.

What an incredible day! We were thrilled to be part of such a meaningful initiative. Surrounded by stunning views and great company, we enjoyed a delicious morning tea and BBQ lunch after getting our hands dirty by planting 500 native shrubs and trees in the beautiful Brisbane Ranges. In partnership with Fifteen Trees, we’re proud to support local communities and contribute to environmental restoration. A truly rewarding experience giving back to nature.

The days begins with an Acknowledgement of the Traditional Owners, a brief history of the district and a guided demo of how to best plant a tree.
