Erin and Mick from yum.
Dear Colleen, Thank you so much for the opportunity to join Fifteen Trees on the greening of our local area. The trees we received through the project were so beautiful, the day so lovely and the environment so awesome that we felt we had to show you with these images. This is Michael and I after having planted the mature trees, we are very happy. Thanks again for the brilliant job you do and the support you provide to the people in this world that want to make a positive impact on our planet. Well done – Erin Once again we need to pass the thanks onto Maree and Brian Harrison from Harrison Funerals Ballarat. Through their support over the past 4 months,  9 beautiful mature trees have been planted. Maree and Brian are carbon offsetting their cremations with Fifteen Trees, for every cremation that they hold, one mature tree is planted. From cradle to grave – we all make an impact on the earth and planting a tree when we leave this place is a beautiful sentiment. The mature trees supplied by Harrison Funerals have been planted under the best possible conditions – during warm, sunny and wet days. Perfect start for the new trees to develop their roots and spread their leaves. Cheers – Colleen[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]

2100 TREES PLANTED

According to Sustainability Victoria, the average Australian lifestyle produces 15,000kg of carbon per year. If that sounds like a lot, it is! Over its lifetime, a tree can collect and store 268kg. This means, we each need to plant 58 trees per year to bring our individual carbon production down to zero. A little tricky for most of us to do in our own backyards, and this is where ‘A Subscription for the Planet’ comes in. (Feature image from Mt Worth Landcare).

Individual actions really do matter! Individually we can really only make small differences to the world around us, but collectively our numbers add up. And if enough individuals are involved then forests can be grown!
