The trees planted at the Janousek Property at Creswick were kindly paid for by Ballarat City Honda. New car owners Brumby, Toohey, Woodward and Daly all have a smaller carbon footprint thanks to Justin Krousoratis (dealership owner) and Damian Shackell (salesman extraordinaire).
Thanks also must go to I.J. who has spent hours ensuring her trees are well planted with tree guards and mulch. With the fabulous winter rains this year, the trees have a terrific start. Now some sunshine will really get them shooting.

CAVAL annually support our community tree planting projects by purchasing trees for us to distribute to community groups to plant. This year, we planted 90 trees on their behalf at Hindmarsh in South Australia and another 10 at the Kaarakin Cockatoo Conservation Centre in WA.

‘This is a picture of my favourite tree on our campus, a Lemon Scented Gum (spp. Corymbia citriodor), and even though it isn’t endemic to our area, it thrives. I love the scent that it gives off on a warm, humid day after a rain shower’. Keitha Theodore.
