Thanks for checking out our How It Works page. In brief, we link individuals and companies to community groups who need support in the form of funding to purchase their trees (and guards) for their revegetation projects. We only plant in Australia sourcing from local independent native nurseries, the trees are indigenous to the area in which they are planted, and in the interest of biodiversity, we also plant native shrubs, grasses and ground-covers.

One of the wonderful community volunteers in East Gippsland, VIC.

There are 6 steps.

  1. A company, organisation, or individual chooses to support one of our community revegetation projects by purchasing a specific number of trees.
  2. We contact one of our community groups such as Landcare networks, schools, or conservation organisations, to offer them the trees for their upcoming projects. To date, we have over 200 Australian community groups across Australia with whom we work.
  3. The community group takes the lead, sourcing native tree species from local nurseries, preparing the planting site, and carrying out the planting. This involves volunteers and inviting local residents to attend the tree planting day.
  4. After planting, the group documents the project by submitting to us photos and providing key details such as the site location, tree species planted, number of trees planted, and any observed or anticipated environmental and community benefits.
  5. We compile a blog based on the community group’s feedback and publish a report on our website. Each project page includes photos, a summary of the outcomes, and full acknowledgement of the sponsor/s who made the project possible.
  6. We share the blog link with the sponsor, who can then pass it on to their team, customers, or broader network to celebrate their contribution to positive environmental change. We encourage the sharing on social media to highlight their environmental leadership.

As a sponsor, you can find your trees anytime, by typing your name or company name into the search box on the website. You are also free to use the content for your own social media, e-news, website etc.

If you would like to know more about sponsoring community tree planting projects or would like to talk about your specific needs, contact me at <[email protected]> or give me a call on 0400 040 659.
