Corporate tree planting days brings people together by encouraging teamwork. Fun good activities that help people see each other in a different light allows them to reconnect in different settings. When you combine team building and volunteer work (such as tree planting) – well – you are ticking all the boxes!!s Doing good while building a more cohesive team. Fifteen Trees has affiliations with many community and environmental groups in metropolitan Melbourne and indeed across Victoria, who would love your assistance to get ‘trees in the ground’.
At present, we are organising tree planting days for Victorian sites only.
We go planting between May and September.
While on site, you will learn from experienced volunteers and gain practical skills in native species selection, proper planting techniques, and ongoing tree care you can use anywhere. While we do not charge to help organise and attend tree planting days, we do require a minimum number of 500 trees ($9.65/tree) to be purchased. Best tree planting events run for a morning (3 – 4 hours) with a tea break half way through. There is no pressure to plant all the trees on the day. What doesn’t get planted, is planted by the community group at the same site in the weeks following.

The team from Fifteen Trees also attends. We assist the community group to set out the seedlings, tools (all provided) and help with the morning or afternoon tea. We take photos and video (happy to share content) and if weather permitting, we send up the drone. We also bring homemade blueberry muffins and good coffee.
The days begins with an Acknowledgement of the Traditional Owners, a brief history of the district and a guided demo of how to best plant a tree. Some of the companies we have organised tree planting days for include; Pana Chocolate, Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival, Like Butter, Argon & Co, Spec Savers, Plakkit, Love Tea, CGI, Michelin, GJ Gardner Homes, Ballarat Wildlife Park, and Simplicity Funerals to name a few.

What an incredible day! We were thrilled to be part of such a meaningful initiative. Surrounded by stunning views and great company, we enjoyed a delicious morning tea and BBQ lunch after getting our hands dirty by planting 500 native shrubs and trees in the beautiful Brisbane Ranges.
