Showcasing Sydney’s beaches, marine parks and mountains, EcoTreasures is a Sydney, nature based company that specializes in local tours with an eco twist. Founder and owner, Damien McClellan is a big supporter of our native environment. Damien’s tours leaves his customers with a better appreciation of Australia’s unique wildlife, culture and heritage. In addition, Damien also regularly supports the conservation of our native environment by purchasing trees for community groups to plant.
As a result of Damien’s support, we recently planted 40 trees at Murrindindi District (Vic) on the behalf of Damien and DNSW Focus on Japan (an annual event in Sydney). This event caters to Japan’s top travel agents and their experiences of NSW best tours. Naturally, EcoTreasures featured prominently at this event.

Strath Creek Landcare Group along with a local landholder planted out the 40 trees to help link previous tree plantings, from Mt Disappointment State Forest to the King Parrot Creek. While new to the Flowerdale district, the landholder has had many years experience revegetating land up along the Murray River. He was very excited to be receiving trees for this important biodiversity link.
In a few years time, we’ll have a great link in the corridor from the mountains to the rivers. This is great news for local fauna such as the Long-nosed bandicoot. Thank you to those, such as EcoTreasures, who partner with Fifteen Trees to provide us with trees for our revegetation projects.

WPA acknowledges that when it comes to environmental initiatives, its people are its strength. It has recently partnered with us to plant 15 trees for each hard-working staff member identified as a Sustainability Warrior.
Tasman Cottage already gives you a chance to reconnect with nature, yet its manager Nick has taken an important next step. He recently purchased 150 trees in collaboration with us here at Fifteen Trees, an action which ensures vital habitat for our native fauna, such as the unique Tassie Devil.
