Peter King and team from King’s Cars Ballarat has been generous supporters of Fifteen Trees since 2010. During that time Kings Cars has purchased over 7,500 trees for community groups in the Ballarat district.
Fifteen Trees plants 15 trees for every Mitsubishis ASX sold at the dealership. Corporate social responsibility at its best.
Recently, on the behalf of Kings Cars, we organised the planting of 600 trees across 2 sites, one at Buninyong and the other at Bulford. At the Buninyong site, 250 trees were sourced from Ballarat Wildplants and planted by the Friends of Yarrowee Creek. Over at Bulford, 350 trees were sourced from A & B Trees and planted by Barbara James and Campaspe Valley Landcare.
We planted our trees along the beautiful Yarrowee River in Mount Pleasant (just off Humffray St, South). We added to the past 5 years of plantings with 250 new indigenous plants. We aim to continue to expand this wildlife corridor. After some hard work and fresh air we will finished with a provided BBQ lunch and chat. Trees were kindly donated by Kings Cars.

We have planted most of the plants on this block on School Rd, Barfold, which is owned by DELWP. They have provided us with money for spraying out gorse, spiny rush, etc, but we needed plants to renovate after the weeds had gone. Some of the plants were also used to extend our roadside planting on the Redesdale Kyneton Rd, Barfold (near the Campaspe River).
Many thanks to Fifteen Trees and all the wonderful supporters of this organisation.

Shout out to Peter King and the entire team at the Ballarat dealership. Without your support, community groups such as Friends of Yarrowee and Campaspe Valley Landcare would have to spend many valuable volunteer hours sourcing funds for the trees for their projects. Now with your support, they can now spend their time out in nature re-vegetating and maintaining our beautiful rural countryside.
Fifteen Trees helps individuals and businesses reduce their carbon footprint through sponsoring Australian community tree planting projects.
