Trees for a rural wedding.

Congratulations to Melissa Cole and Tristan Lambert on their wedding earlier this year. Kindly parents/in-law, Barb Hiley and Peter Lambert have gifted the newlyweds 75 trees. One for each attendee at the wedding. What a great way to begin a new life together by having a low (carbon) footprint wedding.

The 75 trees were planted at primary schools at 2 locations. Thirty trees were planted by Nadine Ogilvie and her class at Sebastopol PS, and the other 45 were planted by Vicki De Leo at St Josephs The Worker PS.

We would like to send our many thanks again for inviting us to be part of the Fifteen Trees Program. We now have 30 trees growing beautifully in our school yard. The students have really valued the knowledge gained from the tree planting as well as looking after them and seeing them grow and begin to mature.

The students have gained valuable knowledge of soil preparation, deciduous tree varieties, planning for long-term tree growth and looking after new trees.

We love planting trees for weddings and wish Melissa and Tristan all heath and happiness, peace and love.
