Brian and Maree Harrison (Harrison Funerals) have once again donated trees to a Ballarat local school. This time around, 17 mature trees were planted at Sebastopol Primary School due to the generosity of this caring couple.

Dear Colleen,

What a fabulous opportunity Sebastopol Primary School had in receiving 17 trees to plant around our school.

Term 3 saw the beginning of a small-scale kitchen garden program. This meant for the senior students and myself a chance to research, plan and develop our very own garden from scratch. Part of the plan for our garden was a small orchard of apple, pear, lemon and cherry trees and a shaded playing area on the top oval. Thanks to the Fifteen Trees program and Harrisons Funerals, we were able to achieve these two goals.

The students have gained a huge sense of pride for ‘their’ schools trees and understand the value of planting for the future.

Thank you Maree and Brian for your continued support of our local schools and their tree planting projects.
