This planting took place in on a residential block in Flowerdale that was destroyed in the 2009 fire. The trees donated by AGA have been used to create a screen along a fence line as habitat for native insects and birds. Previously there had been a pittosporum hedge (a species that readily escapes into the bush), so thanks AGA. The seedlings planted on this site are all indigenous to the area. Steve Joblin | Flowerdale Landcare CoordinatorThis year, Fifteen Trees and our supporters have provided Steve and his Landcare team with over 3,000 native trees for their re-vegetation projects. Numbers add up so thank you AGA for your 75 trees. We are delighted to have been able to help out Flowerdale after the devastating fires in 2009.
