G.J Gardner Warrnambool supports tree planting.

TREES PLANTED

Ross Morley, Managing Director of G. J. Gardner Homes (in partnership with Fifteen Trees) has been supporting our native environment since 2013. Offices in Victoria and Tasmania, support the planting of 15 trees for every new home built. This year, this will add up to over 7,000 trees for schools, landcare and various environmental groups. Andrew Womersley from G.J Gardner Homes Warrnambool, purchased 240 trees for the Hopkins Falls Landcare Group. This dedicated group work on local re-vegetation projects. Jane O’Beirne writes – “Our National Tree Day planting at Hopkins Falls went really well considering weather was at its worst, hail, rain and odd glimpse of the sun. We even had a BBQ cooking with layer of hail on top of sausages – which  was impressive. About 20 super keen volunteers who worked really hard and we managed to get over 600 trees/grasses planted which was amazing effort given the harsh weather. Thank you G. J. Gardner for the contribution of 240 trees to our project. Our focus was on creating a new wind break against a fence line close to Falls which will provide some shade in summer and shelter from wind once established.” GJGLogo_NO-TAG_WHITE_BG_lrg Thank you to Ross Morley and Andrew Womersley for your continued support of local community group who work hard to improve their native environment.
