G.J. Gardner Bass Coast and Fifteen Trees.

TREES PLANTED

Ross Morley, Managing Director of G. J. Gardner Homes has been supporting our native environment (through Fifteen Trees) since 2013 and has helped plant 1000’s of trees across Victoria and Tasmania. For every new home built, Fifteen Trees organises the planting of 15 trees in the local district. This year, the project will see over 7,000 trees planted by schools, landcare and various environmental groups. GJGLogo_NO-TAG_WHITE_BG_lrgGarry Cox and Gill Hardman from G. J. Gardner Homes Bass Coast (Cowes) are generous supporters of local community groups and their tree planting projects. This year, Garry and Gill purchased 435 trees for 2 local projects. Nada Johnstone from Newhaven Primary School planted 30 of the 435 trees, and Dave Bateman organised the planting of the other 405 at Jindara, Kilcunda. Hi Colleen, We had a group of 7 to 10 year olds (from Inverloch primary holiday program) come out with Robbie Gray and his crew from BCLN to plant some of the trees. The kids did a fantastic job planting. This place will look very impressive in about 5 years time. Thanks again to GJG for the funding support for the plants. Nada Johnstone and Catherine Rogerson from the Newhaven PS, organised parents and teachers to come to the school to help plant thirty trees with the children. From all accounts, the students had a great time and all involved were very appreciative of the trees. Gill and Garry, you have both been fantastic supporters of Fifteen Trees and our tree planting projects. Thank you!
