Last month and with some assistance, VET students from Mt Clear Secondary College planted out 10 mature trees on behalf of Harrison Funerals of Main Road Ballarat. Grant Henderson (Curriculum Developer) from Earth Ed writes ‘Thank you Colleen for organising our trees. The grounds were looking very barren and devoid of any greenery. These trees could not have been planted without your support”.
Brian and Maree Harrison have funded the 10 trees at the Centre. By next summer, the grounds at Earth Ed will become a lovely cool, green space for the hundreds of visiting students looking for somewhere shady to eat their lunch. Earth Ed is geared towards providing educational activities for primary and secondary students in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Geology.
