TREES PLANTED

Planting day at the Brisbane Ranges
Hi Colleen

The 300 trees and shrubs that you provided to the Brisbane Ranges Landcare Group have now all been planted, guarded and watered in at Balliang. The trees have extended an existing plantation and windbreak which was being extended very slowly prior to Fifteen Trees thus making a major extension possible.

Thank you to you and your supporters for organising the trees.  Your generous gift will assist in helping the area redress some of the damage done by past years of tree and vegetation clearing.

Kind Regards – David Goble (Brisbane Landcare Co-ordinator).

The  trees  and native shrubs were organised by Brad Tattersall of Tattersall Funeral Care in Werribee. Brad wanted to acknowledge that we all have an effect  on our native environment and made a commitment to plant one tree for every funeral service held in 2011.  Tattersall Funerals are now managed by Tobin Brothers.

Thank you Brad, your contribution to the Brisbane Ranges region has been significant.

Cheers – Colleen
